The Titoki service you receive, includes input from an Ecologist with 25 years experience in native plant establishment on property developments, mines, council reserves, farms, wetlands and lifestyle blocks. We source our seeds locally to help regenerate our region with the native plants that have adapted to our unique environs, climate and soils, and to preserve the unique qualities of our flora. 

Collecting seeds from Golden Bay, and throughout Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough to Nelson Lakes, we serve the Top of the South with the quality of plants that your project deserves. If your not achieving 98% survival in your project the reasons are plant quality or project management. We can help with both.

As a native plant industry leader since 1983 Titoki Nursery set about mastering the practices to produce robust quality plants in “Rootrainer’s” for the next 35 years. Then, after visiting Scandinavia in 2018 we then learnt first hand where further improvements could be gained in rootball development and plant growth, while also aiding field handling and providing significant cost savings to projects. This led to us importing the first Plant Paper machine into NZ and begin our journey to master growing native plants in “Elle’s”.

The cost saving Elle’s provide in the field are big! Superior root ball development means less potential for damage by planters and leads to better growth rates. This can mean establishment occurs a year quicker and reduces the period of necessary maintenance costs. Plant lay-out and planting is significantly faster, planting bags can be used on steep, difficult or large sites, and there is no plastic to manage onsite and return.
